MEET OUR DOCTORS

Dr. Roberto J. Deloso earned his dental degrees from the University of the Philippines College of Dentistry in 1986 and Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1991. He served his General Practice residency at University of North Carolina Hospital and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Highland Hospital and Alameda County Medical Center. Sharing Dr. McDonald's mission of compassionate surgical excellence in a relaxed, healing environment, he joined her practice as an associate in 1997 and became a partner in 1998.

​Dr. Deloso is the Co-Director and Coordinator of the Delta Study Club. A member of the Contra Costa Dental Society, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and International College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Deloso is an active member of the Antioch Rotary Club and served as President from 2008-2009.

He is married to Dr. Jessica Deloso, his favorite dentist whom he enjoys traveling and trying new cuisines with. In his free time, Dr. Deloso enjoys gardening and occasionally playing golf with his friends. Dr. Deloso has also taken a liking to running, and has ran thirty 1/2 marathons along with one full marathon.

DR McDonald

Sloan M. McDonald, DDS has established herself as a distinguished leader in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, having practiced in this area of specialty for over 30 years. Her devotion to continuing education and her passion for quality patient care has placed her at the forefront of her profession. A graduate of the University of Southern California, Dr. McDonald began her career in dentistry as a registered dental hygienist and worked in general and periodontal practices in Portland, Oregon for 4 years. In 1982, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and completed her internship and residency training at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans.

​Dr. McDonald is one of the first female oral-maxillofacial surgeons in the United States. In 1990, the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons honored Dr. McDonald by awarding her the prestigious title of Diplomat. In 1992, she was recognized and invited to become a Fellow in the International College of Dentists, and in 1997, Dr. McDonald was inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Her private practice is in Antioch, California, and she is on the staff of Sutter Delta Medical Center, John Muir Medical Center, Mt. Diablo Medical Center, and Brentwood Surgery Center.

​In her free time, Dr. McDonald enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her family. She especially enjoys her golden retriever, Timmy.

Dr Nguyen

Anh N. Nguyen was born in Vietnam and migrated to the United States of America in 2002. Her family has since called the Bay Area their home. She attended University of California, Berkeley and majored in Biology. After college, Dr. Nguyen moved to Mesa, Arizona to attend A.T. Still University School of Dentistry and Oral Health; where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree as well as her Master of Public Health in 2013. Following dental school, Dr. Nguyen moved to Southern California to complete a 6-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University with extensive training in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, head and neck pathology, dental extraction, anesthesia, dental implants, and bone grafting. During that time, she earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. After residency, Dr. Nguyen chose to return to the Bay Area to be close to her family and to serve the local community.

In her spare time, Dr. Nguyen has many interests outside of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery including hiking, camping, and traveling.
